Microsoft, geçtiğimiz günlerde yaptığı açıklamada kopya XP Professional kullanımına karşı anti-korsan araçlarını güncellediklerini duyurdu. Microsoft Windows Genuine Advantage programının ürün yöneticisi Alex Kochis, blog'unda yaptığı açıklamada artık korsan XP Pro kullananların Windows başlarken simsiyah bir masaüstüne sahip olacaklarını belirtti.

Masaüstü arkaplanını değiştirilmesi de bir işe yaramayacak. Yazılım, saat başı masaüstünü kontrol ederek, yine siyahlaştıracak. Bundan önce, korsan Windows kullanıcıları sadece ekranda korsan yazılım kullandıklarına dair bir uyarı mesajıyla karşılaşmaktaydı.
