Konami'nin yaptığı açıklamaya göre, Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 oyunu 15 Ekim'de Avrupa'da, Kasım ayı içerisinde de Japonya'da piyasalarda olacak. Ayrıca Konami, demo ile ilgili açıklamada da bulundu. Buna göre oyunun demosu, 11 Eylül'de PlayStation Network ve Xbox Live'da yayınlanacak.
